Although various trends such as fintech, open banking, and MyData adoption are emerging in the financial industry, banks have yet to make a strong impression on users through design. In particular, people in their 20s, having been exposed to smartphones from an early age, have high standards for app design. At the same time, the barriers to entry in finance remain high. Given these factors, we found the current Shinhan Play app lacking in usability and decided to undertake a team project to improve it.
